About The Position
Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services. We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and basic office equipment
- Fast-paced clinic environment with frequent patient interaction
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical or dental front office experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments
- Register patients and accurately enter demographic information
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist patients with forms, services, and referrals to community resources
- Support back-office staff to help address clinical quality measure gaps
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and patient waiting areas
