Specializing in designer fabrics, trims, buttons, notions and more for apparel and home, we are beloved for our role on Project Runway — but it's our exceptional quality that turns first-time visitors into lifelong customers. Our flagship store on W. 37th Street, located in the heart of Garment District, is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist/Office Manager to keep our operation running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or office manager in a professional setting or at least one (1) year of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a passion for excellent customer service and commitment to exceptional quality.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite or Google Suite.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Exercises discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the fashion industry/fashion and textile/fabric terminology is a plus.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred but not a requirement; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound calls daily, resolving customer inquiries by providing accurate information regarding our products, inventory, and procedures.
  • Supporting the Executive Office and Sales Associates with administrative tasks, including managing emails and phone correspondence.
  • Managing office supply inventory and ensuring materials are adequately stocked; liaising with outside vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Managing the store's general email account, responding to inquiries and routing complex questions to the appropriate department.
  • Processing invoices and billing; maintaining organized filing systems for all documentation.
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
