About The Position

The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist & Communications Coordinator to join our Front of House team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people while also bringing creativity and organization to communications, marketing, and club operations. As the first point of contact for members and guests, this position plays a key role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the Club’s digital presence, communications, and day-to-day administrative functions. The Receptionist & Communications Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for members, guests, vendors, and staff while supporting the Club’s communications, marketing, and digital presence. This role is responsible for creating a professional and welcoming front desk experience while ensuring accurate communication of club information, reservations, and member services. In addition to front office responsibilities, this position plays a key role in shaping the Club’s communication strategy by developing and distributing email communications, managing social media platforms, and creating engaging digital and print materials. The role supports marketing initiatives, maintains the club website and event calendar, and ensures consistency in brand presentation across all member-facing platforms. This position requires the ability to balance administrative responsibilities with creative execution, while maintaining organization, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism in all interactions. The Receptionist & Communications Coordinator works collaboratively with club leadership and department teams to support daily operations, enhance member engagement, and contribute to a positive and consistent club experience.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
  • Comfort using technology and digital tools (Microsoft Office; Canva or similar preferred)
  • Creative eye for content creation, including social media, photography, and design
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
