Position Summary Available to work occasional weekends and for time off coverage during the week The Receptionist Aide performs a variety of physical therapy aide duties to assist the therapists in the direct provision of patient care under physical therapist supervision and in the preparation of the department in maintaining readiness for patient care.

Requirements

Equivalent to high school education required.
Computer skills required.
1 year on the job training in order to become fully proficient in all phases of assigned duties.

Nice To Haves

Administrative experience preferred.
Patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lifting, transferring and ambulating patients with varied diagnoses and disabilities including obese patients up to 400 lbs. or more.
Answering telephones, greeting and scheduling patients, registering patients, insurance authorization and reimbursement.
Performing a variety of clerical work including typing in support of the department.
