Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Parish seeks an experienced administrative assistant and receptionist. The ideal candidate supports the mission of the parish to welcome and serve members and visitors while providing outstanding administrative support to the church staff. This role requires a person with excellent interpersonal skills who relates well with people. Good communication skills are essential – verbal, written, electronic. Primary Duties: Serves as primary administrative and communications support to the pastor, pastoral associate, finance manager and facilities manager. Serves as a receptionist, including greeting visitors, providing information and assistance both via phone and in person, answering/screening phone calls. Serves as a member of the Welcome Staff, supporting the weekend reception/office needs to serve parishioners and visitors during Sunday Mass times. Performs clerical tasks to support parish office operations, including processing mail, maintaining and organizing files, scheduling ministry and events, preparing weekly/monthly calendars and office reports. Maintains inventory for office and general ministry supplies. General office duties as assigned.
