About The Position

Restaurant Associates, a part of Compass Group Canada, focuses on providing exceptional guest experiences in world-class venues. This role is for an existing job vacancy, working part-time, Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Reception & Guest Experience Coordinator will report to the onsite Compass lead and collaborate with the onsite Location Lead to create a welcoming environment for employees, executives, and visiting clients of a leading consulting and technology company in downtown Toronto.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or working experience in a luxury hospitality environment (corporate, restaurant or hotels) is considered a strong asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging and anticipative service to all office visitors, with a primary focus on the welcome experience.
  • Coordinate space reservations and guest registrations from the main reception desk.
  • Work closely with facilities, local technology teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure a flawless in office experience.
  • Register and check in clients and visitors as required using internal systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and catering suppliers as required, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for in office meetings and events.
  • Assist with planning and communicating office meetings and community events as required.
  • Support activities for security, fire, health, and safety guidelines as required.
  • Conduct opening and closing duties.
  • Assist with mail and courier duties as required.
  • Share information about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
  • Other duties as assigned.
