About The Position

Bell & Evans is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Receiving WIP Cooler Attendant to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient product flow within the cooler by operating a high-reach forklift, rotating inventory, and ensuring products are properly stored, labeled, and ready for production. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and is committed to food safety and teamwork.

Requirements

One to three months of related warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work safely in a refrigerated environment.
Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience operating a high-reach forklift is preferred or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

Operate a high-reach forklift to move and rotate product within the cooler.
Ensure older product is easily accessible and available for picking using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
Place products in designated storage locations and verify they are properly labeled with the correct item number and code date.
Keep all products covered, organized, and stored according to company standards.
Perform laborer duties, including delivering clean bins and trays to Plant 1 in a timely manner.
Handle condemned product according to company procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
