POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating and sampling inbound hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring that all inbound materials are in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations and are properly routed for disposal. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Arranges and tracks shipments for waste received at facility to be transported to another disposal location. Maintains accurate and updated inventory of all waste and reagents stored on site. Creates load composition for outbound shipments to a Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF). Generates shipping paperwork. Coordinates shipping schedules with outbound transporters and TSDF's. Identifies and takes a role in resolving waste discrepancies and inventory-related paperwork problems. Ensures waste is properly segregated and stored. Coordinates with personnel to resolve discrepancies and communicate resolution with receiving TSDF. Enters inbound shipments into the tracking database. Ensures that all discrepancies are identified and reported for proper resolution. Interacts with drivers delivering and picking up waste materials. Ensure drivers adhere to safety procedures while on company property. Ensures that all inbound receipts are submitted in a timely manner to comply with financial and month end deadlines. Ensures clear communication with internal operations, disposal facilities and others in the normal course of business. Assists with warehouse and drum pad housekeeping as needed. Leads may review and sign manifests or coordinate with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
