About The Position

This position is the Team Lead of all employees of the Receiving department and is responsible for inventory management of incoming company products necessary to package and ship. The shift is Friday - Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm (12 hour shifts). Superior Communications has become the nation's largest manufacturer and distributor of wireless accessories with the broadest product offerings and services for all channels of distribution.

Requirements

High school diploma, or GED
Valid driver’s license; satisfactory completion of Superior’s forklift training program
Computer proficiency of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Must be able to read and write in English; bilingual a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-confidence to lead; able to work in team environment
Problem solving skills; able to analyze situations, including ability to spot issues in efficiency/productivity and suggest improvements
Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams
Able to prioritize effectively; able to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions
Able to adapt to changing job requirements

Nice To Haves

1-year of previous supply chain experience preferred
1-year of previous team leader experience preferred
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferred

Responsibilities

Receive and log all incoming products
Perform random sampling on all incoming product purchase orders and forwards to QC for evaluation
Transport product to put-away area
Label boxes with product information
Help to keep warehouse clean and organized
Manage incoming shipments and receiving records
Train and supervise all Receiving department team members
Manage and report receiving discrepancies; report product details to procurement department, i.e. quantities, part numbers, products
Supervise the put away and pick processes
Assist with inventory management
Maintain a clean and well-organized area
Examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures
Follow safety and dress codes
Follow ISO/TL9000 requirements as it pertains to position
