About The Position

The Receiving Team Lead coordinates and controls the movement of inventory. This role can perform the job functions of a Warehouse Operator and Warehouse Associate and reports to the Warehouse Foreman. The Receiving Team Lead is cross-trained with other warehouse or shipping team leads to be able to cover when a team lead is out. Essential Responsibilities/Activities include providing Manufacturing with all required parts in a timely manner, accurately sorting, maintaining, and staging product, and helping to coordinate personnel to achieve optimal efficiency. This role also maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and/or daily checks, ensures all inventory is labeled and placed in the appropriate bin locations, completes forklift inspections daily, and rejects damaged goods and takes corrective action. Additionally, the Receiving Team Lead logs non-conforming product and verifies returned goods.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • AAON Forklift Certification
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.

  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
  • Remain in a stationary position (primarily standing) for 95% of the time.
  • Move parts, tools and other objects weighing up to 25-50 pounds in all directions.
  • Traverse the manufacturing facility to accomplish tasks.
  • Operate heavy equipment, machinery and tools.
  • Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and fingers.
  • Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
  • Position self in different positions to accomplish tasks, including in tight and confined spaces.
  • Communicate with others to exchange accurate information.
  • Observe/assess the accuracy and quality of the work assigned (frequently including detecting color).

Responsibilities
