This role is for a DC Supervisor, Receiving, with hours from 5a-1:30p plus overtime as needed. The supervisor will be responsible for leading a team to ensure safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient warehousing services, including material storage and equipment maintenance, to meet daily objectives. The role involves coordinating warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, inventory control, quality control, spare part distribution, and component part support, while also ensuring compliance and the safe storage of materials. Additionally, the supervisor will provide daily guidance, training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports, schedule warehouse maintenance (including vehicles and forklifts), and assist in developing equipment replenishment plans. Adherence to company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies is mandatory, along with regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising a team to deliver safe, reliable, compliant and efficient warehousing services, including storage of materials and repairs and maintenance of equipment, to achieve daily objectives as part of the established plan.
  • Coordinating warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, quality control, spare part distribution and component part support, and supports compliance tasks.
  • Ensuring the safe and proper storage of materials within delegation of responsibility.
  • Providing daily supervision to a team of direct reports and delivers basic skills training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Scheduling repairs for warehouse maintenance, which may include company vehicles and forklifts, and assists in developing replenishment plans for equipment.
  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
