About The Position

Symbia Logistics is seeking a creative and dynamic Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations in their Aurora, CO Fulfillment Center. This role involves directing daily operations, planning warehouse activities, managing distribution, collaborating with customers, and being hands-on with the team. Requirements

  • At least one to two years of leadership experience.
  • Three years in warehousing, distribution, or a related field.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and responsible leadership experience.
  • EDI experience is necessary.
  • Retail compliance knowledge.
  • Skilled in all MS Office products.
  • Ability to operate equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and good depth perception.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (at least two hours straight, four times in an eight-hour day).
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements using hands and feet simultaneously.
  • Ability to get on and off industrial lift equipment regularly.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with occasional extreme temperature shifts (very cold to very hot).
  • Exposure to loud noises and dust.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving equipment.

  • SPS Commerce experience is greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead alongside employees by setting an example.
  • Motivate and incentivize the team to earn respect and trust.
  • Supervise, lead, and teach warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel comply with standard operating procedures, personnel policies, and workload demands.
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure established procedures are met.
  • Oversee the picking, packing, kitting, and shipping of orders.
  • Drive KPIs, including 99.7% on-time shipping, 99.9% order accuracy, and 99.7% on-time receiving.
  • Utilize strong communication skills while celebrating, coaching, or counseling employees.
  • Maintain and complete shift records and reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
