About The Position

This position involves the receiving of goods into the warehouse, organizing it in such a manner as to optimize the use of inventory for production according to ISO 9002 procedures while maintaining a consistent and businesslike business manner. A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. SEW-EURODRIVE provides a generous benefits package to all full time employee. These benefits start on DAY ONE! Requirements

  • Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
  • Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours.
  • Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company’s expectations
  • Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Unloading and loading of various types of trucks and shipping containers.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, cranes and hoists
  • Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP system
  • Verify compliance of parts received by using shop measuring tools and available documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with all departments to verify correct goods received and correct items are shipped.
