The Receiving Specialist will accept and process deliveries. The responsibilities include verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a Receiving position within a manufacturing warehouse environment
  • 1+ years of experience driving forklifts.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Sharp attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Basic mathematical competency (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Familiarity with operating RF scanners and various warehouse equipment (e.g., wrap machines, scales, forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Understanding of fundamental supply chain processes.
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices in the MRP and ensure that the information provided is correct.
  • Maintain accurate records of received shipments.
  • Handle incoming receipts, including checking in items, completing paperwork, entering data into systems, labeling, and managing warehouse-to-warehouse movements.
  • Inspect deliveries to ensure they conform to order and invoice specifications.
  • Unload deliveries from trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate stand-up reach forklifts, hand pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Safely lift, push, pull, and carry materials and boxes manually.
  • Follow work orders precisely to pick and place components, chemicals, and supplies for production lines and compounding staging areas.
  • Operate forklifts to efficiently transport materials and goods within the facility.
  • Wear designated personal protection equipment (PPE).
