About The Position

This is an onsite position in San Carlos, CA. (Temp to Perm). The Receiving Specialist accepts and processes deliveries. The responsibilities include verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, and ensuring items are stored correctly. The receiving specialist will inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy items.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of receiving experience in a distribution or warehouse environment or similar experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Spreadsheet and ERP, preferably Oracle.
Basic math skills, and the ability to utilize sound judgment and reasoning capabilities to resolve problems.
Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to communicate, both orally and written, in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Receiving and signing for deliveries, comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
Organize and store received items in appropriate areas, update inventory with received items.
Process and record corresponding transactions in Oracle.
Work collaboratively with the team to resolve any discrepancies.
Handling returns of miss-shipped or damaged merchandise.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
