Join Our Dynamic Distribution Warehouse Team! Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to make a significant impact in a thriving distribution warehouse? We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
- Receive and process paper and electronic payments received by carriers.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system.
- Accurately generates all paperwork relating to the shipment of product from the warehouse.
- Prepares all loading documents, pick tickets and door assignments.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely.
- Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure proper storage of products could include manual verification of contained quantities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
- Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
