As a Receiving Inspector, you will help maintain the highest standards of compliance and product quality while contributing to our mission of improving outcomes for patients around the world.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of quality or receiving inspection experience within a medical device or other regulated industry
  • Understanding of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience with sampling plans, inspection methodologies, and measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, and vision systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing inspection activities

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving inspection activities for incoming materials, components, and subassemblies
  • Inspect materials against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements using appropriate measurement tools
  • Approve or reject incoming materials and ensure correct identification, segregation, and status control
  • Support the timely release of materials to production while maintaining compliance with quality procedures
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit ready inspection records and documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant inspection area
  • Support other operational activities as required
