Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of quality or receiving inspection experience within a medical device or other regulated industry
Understanding of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 requirements
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience with sampling plans, inspection methodologies, and measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, and vision systems
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing inspection activities

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

Perform receiving inspection activities for incoming materials, components, and subassemblies
Inspect materials against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements using appropriate measurement tools
Approve or reject incoming materials and ensure correct identification, segregation, and status control
Support the timely release of materials to production while maintaining compliance with quality procedures
Identify and document nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures
Maintain complete, accurate, and audit ready inspection records and documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant inspection area
Support other operational activities as required
