About The Position

Everflow Supplies is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and relocating inventory while ensuring product integrity and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience operating a reach truck, using RF scanners, and working in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, dust, humidity, and moderate noise.
  • Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, balance, endurance, and the ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of inventory control, replenishment, and FIFO inventory practices.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a reach truck to transport, store, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Rotate inventory using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to ensure products with the earliest expiration dates are picked first.
  • Scan and put away returned inventory and newly received products after receipt has been verified.
  • Verify incoming inventory by matching product descriptions, quantities, and item numbers using RF scanners and shipping documentation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, including missing, damaged, incorrect, or excess inventory, and notify the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Retrieve products from the Receiving Department and accurately place them into designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform inventory put-away to replenish lower-level picking locations and maintain inventory availability.
  • Relocate inventory as needed to support warehouse organization, inventory corrections, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain established productivity and accuracy standards while following all warehouse procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly report any equipment or facility concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facility Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
