About The Position

The Receiving/Put Away Clerk is responsible for the inspection and put away of all inbound material according to Talley Procedures and work instructions. This role involves offloading inbound material, counting and inspecting it, performing data entry for inventory, and stocking received materials into their designated bin locations. The position also requires quality control of products and engaging in work with a high sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail. The clerk must be adaptable to change and handle high-stress situations calmly. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs dictate.

Requirements

  • Prelude Experience Required
  • 1-year warehouse experience
  • Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift
  • Required to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
  • Must be able to work under deadline pressure
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

  • High School or GED - Preferred
  • Customer Service skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Offloading inbound material as required
  • Counting and inspecting all inbound material
  • Receiving product inventory/data entry as required
  • Put away all material received into the inventory
  • Data Entry into Prelude is required for this position
  • Separating and staging material that is received from material that has not been counted
  • Finding bin locations for material that has not been previously stocked
  • Quality Control of all product
  • Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
