About The Position

At Specialty Rx, Inc., the Receiving Pharmacy Technician supports the company’s mission of outstanding service by embodying its CARE culture: Commitment, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. The role is responsible for receiving and processing vendor orders, maintaining pharmacy inventory and stock, and supporting pharmacy standards. The position requires a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician. Long-term care pharmacy experience, pharmacy purchasing or inventory management experience, and familiarity with Framework and/or ECM software are preferred. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and position inventory, supplies, and pharmacy products weighing up to 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods while performing receiving and inventory-related duties.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment, if applicable and permitted by company policy.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy purchasing, ordering, or inventory management experience.
• Experience with Framework and/or ECM software.

Responsibilities

• Perform all drug distribution duties.
• Receive orders from vendors and process them correctly in the system.
• Manage inventory and place orders; check drugs and supplies.
• Enter medication orders accurately in the system.
• Maintain floor stock by restocking and removing expired medications.
• Rotate medication-area stock to support quality controls.
• Support and adhere to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
