About The Position

The Lumper role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will take instruction and perform all required job duties and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality standards.

Requirements

1 or more years’ experience in shipping/receiving and/or warehouse environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of performing basic math calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, and division)
Experience in using standing riding pallet jacks, walking pallet jacks, etc., as required
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Must be detail oriented.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Responsibilities

Palletize product (stack on pallets) according to weight and product type
Assist in loading and unloading product from trucks as required
Breakdown and separate pallets when they are too high or of mixed product type
Run palletized product for storage
Communicate with scheduler and receivers for the daily workload.
Offload inbound trucks in a timely manner.
Examines articles for defects and separate defective product onto pallets for damaged goods
Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Wear required personal protective equipment.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Constantly looking for ways to improve processes
Adjusts quickly and efficiently to changes in work goals
Demonstrates a sense of personal urgency and energy to achieving results
