About The Position

Coordinate daily receiving activities and prioritize workflow to meet operational needs. Assign daily tasks and provide work direction to Receiving team members. Monitor receiving accuracy, productivity, and inventory integrity. Verify inbound shipments, investigate discrepancies, and assist with issue resolution. Perform advanced receiving, material handling, and inventory transactions as needed. Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members on receiving processes, equipment, and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, inventory control practices, and company policies. Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and process improvement initiatives. Communicate operational issues and staffing needs to warehouse leadership. Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing safety expectations and identifying potential hazards. Assist leadership with scheduling workflow, labor allocation, and shift coverage. Serve as the point of contact for receiving-related questions during daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse or receiving experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Tugger (PIV) Certification
  • Stand-Up Forklift Certification
  • Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift Certification
  • Combi Forklift Certification
  • RFID Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience leading or coordinating warehouse teams preferred.
