About The Position

The Receiving/Inventory Control Coordinator interfaces with all departments related to receiving raw materials and finished products, as well as general deliveries and inventory control in support of the overall goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 solid years of experience in a related industry
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • High level of energy and motivation.
  • Ability to effectively and safely operate power equipment including tow motors, sky jack and pallet jack
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels from truck drivers to management.
  • Proven team player and ability to successfully work collaboratively.
  • A high level of trustworthiness and the ability to achieve integrity at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks, ensure accurate deliveries, receive goods in IQMS timely and put away inventory timely
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure accurate inventory levels including investigating and resolving any inventory issues
  • Unload, receive and store raw materials for example color, liner and resin inventory
  • Ensure resin inventory is accurate at all times (balance resin, silo tracking)
  • Organize and rotate inventory – ensure FIFO
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts
  • Conduct partial cycle counts as required
  • Receive non-standard deliveries including any MRO items, UPS, FedEx, etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and effectively utilize various databases and IQMS. Input data in a timely and accurate manner and facilitate reporting.
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships along the manufacturing and customer service continuum and among other key functional units of the organization.
  • Inbound inspection and management of vendor certifications
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse.
  • Complete Ease audits
  • Make transactional moves for inventory via scan gun and IQMS

  • Inspect Resin on incoming deliveries
  • File Vendor COA’s
  • Collect liner samples and color chips and hand to quality.
  • Work with finance; provide them with proper paperwork with all items that were received
  • Know and understand the chemical control process and procedures
  • Ability to participate in audits
  • Perform Vendor RMA process
  • When the workload is light, the employee may be assigned to assist with other duties or departments as needed.

  • Identifies safety gaps and self-initiates corrective actions
  • Strictly adheres to plant safety, housekeeping, and 5S efforts
  • Understands, identifies, and corrects safety hazards

  • Monitors and verifies activities to ensure that finished goods and raw materials are coming in and out of the facility meet consumer safety and quality standards.
  • Complies with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures
  • Reports any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured products to the location’s Food Safety Team Leader and submits an appropriate incident report
