Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control or related experience
- Forklift experience is required
- Ability to lift as least 50lbs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and works with urgency
- Strong time management skills, deadline and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work with cross functional teams
- Positive attitude and action oriented.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing a plus
Responsibilities
- Stocks and issue materials
- Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records
- Ensure the proper loading, unloading and handling of goods and materials by safely utilizing forklifts.
- Validating the received materials and goods with the invoices to ensure the precision of the goods delivered and completing all required documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions.
- Conduct Physical Counts and adjust inventory discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues, including discrepancies, damages, and losses.
- Provide quality control by inspecting parts and removing any defective pieces.
- Raise quality issues to the next level if quality is compromised
- Counting, sorting, and weighing all inbound goods and authenticating the receipt of the same in accord with the packing slip
- Inspecting the received goods, making note of any damages and discrepancies, and immediately reporting the same
