This role performs inspection functions according to Frontier's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) and FAA Regulations to ensure flight safety and airworthiness of Frontier aircraft. The position requires adherence to approved published procedures, performing Required Inspection Item (RII) inspections, and conducting various types of inspections including C-Check, line maintenance/RON, and receiving inspections. The inspector will also monitor maintenance, workmanship, and materials for compliance, perform on-site quality control, audit and monitor aircraft records, and participate in the improvement of Frontier's CAMP. Additionally, the role involves assisting with vendor and line station audits, conducting On-The-Job Training (OJT), ensuring accuracy of work documents, maintaining currency on manuals, researching pertinent information, making FMIS entries, and adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Maintaining cleanliness of maintenance areas, ensuring positive tool control, and addressing lost/found tools are also key responsibilities. The role also includes receiving tools returned from calibration vendors, ensuring proper data entry in FMIS, assisting in the evaluation of new tooling, and evaluating aircraft equipment for new training topics.
