CPC (Colder Products Company) is seeking a Receiving Inspection Technician for their 1st Shift (M-F 5:30a.m.-2:00p.m.). Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; Word and Excel.
  • Able to collect, analyze, and report data.
  • Self-driven and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to self-prioritize, multitask and expedite in support of production needs.
  • This role may require 5% travel domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in a regulated work environment such as Medical Device/Bio-pharm/Automotive.
  • Oracle or similar ERP software experience preferred.
  • Familiar with 1809001 guidelines and GMP preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written specifications preferred.
  • Previous experience with optical or coordinate measurement machines preferred.
  • Previous experience in mechanical inspection or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply inspection techniques using a variety of hand inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring gages and programmable test equipment such as Optical Gaging, Coordinate Measuring Machine and Micro-view.
  • Initiate non-conformances and maintain appropriate records as needed.
  • Provide support for other inspection functions.
  • Assist in evaluation of inspection methods/fixtures and providing improvement recommendations in conjunction with Quality Engineering/Engineering.
  • Operates within CPC BOS (Quality System).
  • Active participant in Continuous Improvement and Lean projects.
  • Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training.
  • Assists with quality systems audits with suppliers.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
