About The Position

The Receiving Inspection Supervisor oversees incoming material and component inspections to ensure products meet engineering drawings, purchase order requirements, customer specifications, and applicable quality standards before release to production. The role supervises receiving inspectors, coordinates inspection priorities with Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality, and ensures nonconforming materials are identified, documented, segregated, and dispositioned through the established quality process. The supervisor maintains material traceability, prevents defective or incorrect components from entering production, and provides accurate visibility into supplier quality performance and incoming material status. The position is based at Panelmatic’s West Houston, Texas facility. Work is performed primarily in receiving, inspection, warehouse, and production areas, with office time for records, NCRs, ERP entries, and reporting. The role includes regular exposure to manufacturing and warehouse conditions, noise, forklifts and material-handling equipment, and seasonal temperature variation. Required PPE must be worn. Frequent standing, walking, bending, handling materials and components, and using measuring instruments are required. Occasional extended hours may be needed to support production schedules and urgent material receipts.
