About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Receiving/Forklift Associate is part of the Receiving Team, which uses heavy equipment to unload trucks safely and quickly. This position reports to the Facilities Team Lead. It is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position performed on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.
Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests during employment.
- Be forklift certified or successfully pass in-house training and certification.
- Be available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, on 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
- Be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
- Follow written directions and company policies.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet live trailers at the dock and unload them quickly to avoid retention fees.
- Use pallet jacks and fork trucks to unload product.
- Drive a forklift safely according to policy and the Safety Coordinator's direction.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
