Receiving Department Manager

Shepherd Electric SupplyRichmond, VA
Onsite

About The Position

Receiving is where accuracy begins. Every order that leaves this facility correctly traces back to freight that was received correctly — counted right, documented right, and entered into inventory right. When receiving runs clean, fulfillment runs clean. When receiving misses something, the entire operation pays for it downstream. The Receiving Manager owns that foundation. At a 100,000-square-foot distribution center running three shifts, the inbound function cannot be reactive — it has to be disciplined, fast, and accurate every day. You set the standard for your team, manage exceptions before they compound, and ensure the DC always knows exactly what it has.
