About The Position

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for safely conducting all tasks and behaviors in compliance with JBT Machining Safety Policies. This role involves receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying documentation, entering data into the ERP system, coordinating material movement, and communicating any discrepancies. The position also requires maintaining accurate inventory records, performing audits, organizing materials to support production schedules, and operating various equipment safely. A clean and organized work area, along with proper documentation, is essential. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and be trained in JBT Machining’s manufacturing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask across a wide variety of projects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous inventory and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP system preferred.
  • Prior forklift and/or crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all JBT Machining Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, as outlined in the Safety Manual.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify packing slips against purchase orders and incoming materials.
  • Enter receiving information into ERP system.
  • Coordinate movement of materials to appropriate locations/team members.
  • Communicate all shortages, damaged goods or discrepancies to purchasing and management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records in ERP system.
  • Perform monthly raw material inventory audit.
  • Organize and prioritize incoming materials and job travelers to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
  • Operate Saws safely and efficiently to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes safely after being certified.
  • Always maintain a clean, safe and organized work area and adhere to all workplace organization standards.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is properly completed, filed, and maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by.
