About The Position

Clean Harbors Deer Park is seeking a multi-tasking Receiving Coordinator to join our safety-conscious team. This team member will interact and coordinate with internal and external customers to complete tasks related to data entry, general administration, shipping, receiving, and the entering data for processing of waste. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts), governed by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and subject to change based on operational needs. This position may require rotating shift work which consists of 4 days on, 4 days off (on-call), 4 nights on, 4 nights off (off-call). The hourly wage is $23.41/HR, with potential for additional earnings through overtime and other benefits outlined in the CBA.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years office experience preferred.
  • Customer service centric.
  • Data entry experience-accuracy is a must.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications.
  • Must be able to sit at desk for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 25lbs from the ground to your waist.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the #1 goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
  • Lab data entry into WIN systems.
  • Filing, typing, and general clerical duties.
  • Utilizing WIN central and plant receiving, profile access and printing.
  • Data entry into WIN, Excel and/or Outlook for truck-to-truck materials.
  • Organization and filing manifest paperwork, receiving documents, and truck-to-truck paperwork.
  • Organization and maintenance of trailer inventories and data entry into shared files in WIN.
  • Printing and creating inbound receiving reports and materials.
  • Creation of shipping papers for rejected materials.
  • Data entry of tracking info into WIN for drum and bulk tracking operations for tankers, railcars, and roll offs.
  • Any administrative duties as deemed required by supervisors.
  • Supply management in their area of responsibility, including proper housekeeping and best management practices.
  • Adherence to all applicable CHES policies and CHES SOPs.
  • Maintains a safe working environment that follows all applicable OSHA regulations as well as all applicable company Health & Safety and Compliance protocol.
  • Performs job functions in compliance with the company standard: Clean Compliance.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
