About The Position

The Receiver will unload trucks and receive shipments, verifying product and materials information against bills of lading. Based on the shipment documentation and arrival condition, the Receiver will determine whether to accept or reject freight. Inventory updates are entered into an electronic inventory management system on a timely basis. Upon acceptance of goods, the Receiver will transition stock to the correct storage location or to the production floor using motorized or manual equipment. Hiring for all shifts: 1st: 8am-4:30pm, 2nd: 4pm-12:30am, 3rd: 12am-8:30am.

Requirements

  • Attention-to-detail is a critical skill for this position.
  • General computer skills and ability to update electronic records, enter data into systems, and send emails.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck, often unloading/loading materials in confined areas.
  • Able to be a positive team member while also working independently.
  • Able to sit or stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 50-pounds.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Consistently meet attendance requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as necessary.
  • Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment that includes machinery, moving parts, noise, and chemicals.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and incoming shipments using a hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forklift.
  • Operate/drive a box truck
  • Carefully inspect all freight for damage and reject shipments that do not meet conditional specifications.
  • Maintain proper storage for production, including rotating stock and completing cycle counts.
  • Pull and issue stock to production departments, prioritizing for quick-turn production and remakes.
  • Using a computer, enter shipment and stock data into the inventory management system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly receiving and inventory control area.
  • Able to use basic hand tools such as utility knives, screwdrivers, band cutters, and hammers.
  • Follow all safety training and procedures as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and hazardous waste.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
