About The Position

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for reading and understanding work order requirements to facilitate product movement within the facility. This role involves organizing and prioritizing work based on receipt date, identifying expedited products, and entering data for order reception. The clerk will inspect incoming parts for damage, count and measure them, and document special planning requirements. They will also document product discrepancies and notify the Customer Service Representative to resolve issues with customers. Additionally, the Receiving Clerk will enter customer data into the Orizon Aerostructures Work Order System and operate a digital camera to upload pictures. Other duties include operating office equipment, material handling equipment (with certification), power tools, and loading/unloading trucks. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, observing safety requirements, and handling customer-supplied product with care are essential. The role also requires maintaining Orizon Aerostructures' quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand work order requirements to facilitate the movement of product throughout the facility.
  • Organize and prioritize work by receipt date and identify expedite products on purchase orders.
  • Enter data to receive orders, identify, inspect for damage, count and measure parts upon receipt from the customer.
  • Document information on the purchase order for special planning requirements.
  • Document product discrepancies during the receiving process and notify the Customer Service Representative to contact the customer to resolve these issues.
  • Enter customer data into the Orizon Aerostructures Work Order System under the Header Information, detailed items, processes, and measurement tabs required for non-complex planning.
  • Operate digital camera and upload pictures into the work order system.
  • Operate a copier/printer, as required.
  • Operate wheeled carts, pallet jacks and forklift, with appropriate certification.
  • Operate power tools.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary.
  • Keep Planning/Receiving area clean and organized per company Ultra C-Lean requirements.
  • Observe safety requirements and use all required safety equipment.
  • Handles customer-supplied product with care.
  • Maintain and reinforce Orizon Aerostructures quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
