About The Position

The Fox Studio Lot is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join their team! This role involves acting as a direct liaison to employees, clients, vendors, and various trades, and actively participating in the day-to-day operations for Studio Lot Resources. Responsibilities include responding to incoming service requests, utilizing an electronic ticketing system, providing status updates, performing general clerical duties, and managing inbound and outbound material.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or mail services
  • Strong working knowledge of shipping software across multiple platforms and inventory management systems
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exceptional resourcefulness with a proactive mindset and outstanding organizational skills
  • Self-starter who exercises sound judgement, takes initiative, and performs responsibilities independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for results
  • Proficient in FOX’s software suite: MediaPulse, Coupa, FMI, ServiceNow, Fox Convene, and SCLogic
  • Able to manage a high volume of work by balancing priorities effectively amongst a variety of diverse tasks
  • Able to follow standardized operating procedures
  • Able to repetitively lift, carry, pull, push, and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand, walk, and sit as required to perform all job functions
  • Able to work overtime with short notice
  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of all USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx regulations
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to repetitively reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps; walking up and down stairs, service ramps and using elevators
  • Ability to operate PCs, Macs, handheld devices, mailing and shipping equipment/software (scales, meter machines, etc.)
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast paced, demanding startup environment
  • Ability to train across multiple job functions
  • Dependable/reliable with excellent attendance record.
  • Valid California driver's license (without restrictions)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a direct liaison to employees, clients, vendors, and various trades
  • Actively participate in day-to-day operations for Studio Lot Resources, including but not limited to responding to incoming service requests via e-mail, telephone, voicemail, or in person.
  • Accurately identify, diagnose, prioritize, log, and dispatch the appropriate team
  • Utilize the electronic ticketing system according to department procedures for the opening, closing, resolution, escalation, and tracking of all service requests
  • Provide status updates and completion information to client and/or internal teams
  • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to ordering supplies, placing service calls for equipment, filing, document scanning, folding, stuffing, stapling, addressing, metering, record keeping and photocopying
  • Receive, sort, and deliver parcels and packages as needed
  • Coordinate, process, and track inbound and outbound material from carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers utilizing various software applications
  • Create an outstanding customer service experience by finding solutions that meet client shipping/receiving needs
  • Execute daily shipping/receiving activities with a focus on efficiency
  • Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for damage, discrepancies, and completeness
  • Track custody using an internal package tracking system on shipping/receiving transactions, including receiving client signatures for received material
  • Store, organize, and maintain all shipments and various parcels as needed, ensuring all items can be quickly retrieved
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lifts)
  • Prepare and label outbound shipments in compliance with company standards and carrier regulations, including Bills of Lading and Customs Declarations
  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving and inventory records, perform regular audits
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to streamline shipping/receiving workflows
  • Perform other duties as needed, including coverage for other Studio Lot Resources departments or job functions
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and client information, data, and materials
  • Adhere to all departmental and company safety and security policies and procedures, and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Perform all duties in a professional, positive manner with a can-do attitude
