About The Position
Doctors Hospital of Laredo, a 183-bed acute care facility in Laredo, TX, is seeking a Receiving Clerk for its Supply Chain department. This role is responsible for the receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies and equipment. The facility prides itself on the quality of care it delivers and its commitment to serving Laredo's healthcare needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Storeroom or Warehouse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Receives incoming supplies (Stock and Non-stock)
- Monitors supplies left by carriers
- Receives equipment in accordance with task descriptions in the procedure manual
- Places asset tags on all equipment
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages
