About The Position

The Receiving Associate assists with warehouse operations at the retail store. The role includes unloading, auditing, and staging products to recover store inventory. The employee ensures products are ready for counting and inspection, receiving paperwork is completed, products are stored safely and efficiently, and warehouse inventory is rotated. The position requires completing department and equipment training and obtaining forklift certification. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• One to two years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift-driving experience preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel; frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of previous warehouse experience.
• Experience driving a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Understand and comply with the company’s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Complete required department and equipment training; forklift certification is required.
