About The Position

PACE Supply has an exciting career opportunity available at our new branch in Riverside, CA. We are seeking a motivated Receiving Associate to strive for excellence and help us maintain our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. As a receiver at PACE Supply, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operation run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for processing incoming products, verifying it against paperwork for accuracy, processing and preparing products to be put away and stored. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift heavy packages, operate forklifts, and use hand-held scanners. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will interact with customers, suppliers, and team members on a daily basis. Requirements

  • Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
  • Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes.
  • Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions with customers and manufacturers.
  • Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
  • Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Count, verify, and maintain accuracy of products.
  • Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.
  • Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.
  • Material handling (reaching, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).
  • Pull material as needed to maintain production workstations.
  • Unload products from truck by hand or with forklift operation.
  • Check items are correct based on paperwork.
  • Verify missing, damaged, or inaccurate count.
  • Maintain and track inventory levels.
  • Receives multiple shipments on a regular basis while verifying order accuracy.
