About The Position

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a Receiving Associate II to join their team. This role involves accurately checking and receiving inbound products, confirming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring product packaging is intact. The associate will be responsible for restocking inventory efficiently and accurately, performing cycle counts, and utilizing RF guns for inventory tracking. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. Requirements

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
  • The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
  • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
  • The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm the shipment is consistent with the purchase order.
  • Check product packaging to ensure that it is neat and intact.
  • Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
  • Perform cycle counts as necessary to ensure inventory count is accurate.
  • Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to scan barcodes and labels allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
