About The Position

Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is seeking a dedicated, full-time Receiving and Stocking Team Member to become a vital part of our team! This role involves handling incoming deliveries, maintaining organized storage, and ensuring product quality and availability. The position requires physical capability, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Availability is full-time, 40 hours per week, including one weekend shift weekly. Shifts are within a 6am-8:30pm timeframe. Must be 18 years or older.

Requirements

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service to all, including customers, team members, and delivery drivers.
• Unloading and organizing incoming deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains organized, accessible storage by securely stacking, labeling, and consolidating items, while planning for efficient deliveries.
• Ensures accurate piece counts, notes shipping and receiving errors, and requests supplier credits.
• Checks packaging for damages, ensures proper storage and rotation, and promptly addresses out-of-stock items.
• Keeps returns well-organized and ensures pick up at next delivery.
• Maintains quick pace and adjusts pace to volume. Takes initiative to find projects when tasks are completed.
• Lifts carefully, handles equipment responsibly, and promptly cleans up spills and other hazards to ensure safety.
• Assists in other store operations as needed.
