About The Position
As a receiving and distribution clerk at Prairie Meadows Casino Racetrack and Hotel, you’ll monitor shipments and process orders in our warehouse. This role is for someone who enjoys being on the move and interacting with different people every day. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a welcoming smile.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for eight-hour periods.
- Ability to lift 90 lbs. and push carts up to 150lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse and inventory experience preferred.
- Experience operating various warehouse equipment, pallet trucks, and hand jacks preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make sure products are stored correctly and rotation procedures and protocols are followed
- Check all invoices and purchase orders by count and item upon delivery
- Verify received products and distribute products to designated areas
