About The Position

The Receiving Administrator accurately performs proper receiving functions (verifies receipts, accurately inputs inventory in systems, communicates with inbound carriers, suppliers, Supply Chain, coordinates with inbound carriers, handles all associated paperwork, BOL, etc.) and interfaces with the company’s Purchase Order system and ensures accurate execution in the Warehouse Management System to accurately post in the company’s primary business system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations related fields
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Able to complete, understand, apply and modify orders, receiving documents, invoices, company paperwork, and other work-related documents
  • Possess general knowledge of warehouse, receiving and transportation procedures, practices and routes
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to motivate and coordinate and clearly direct employees and sub-contractors

Responsibilities

  • Receives, verifies, and coordinates all receiving PO’s, beer, wine, spirits, and Non-Alc’s.
  • Accurately changes and updates item master dimensions and product characteristics in WMS (logPRO) which interface with the company’s global item master.
  • Directs and coordinates product put away.
  • Communicates with internal and external sources.
  • Communicates internally with Supply Chain, Trade Development, Sales, and Warehouse management.
  • Schedule carrier appointments and communicate with carriers.
  • In conjunction with the WMS software, exercises discretion to schedule daily deliveries and assign inbound trailers to the facility based on the product type.
  • Plan and reserve future appointments based on the work load (product) type.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
