Receiver- 1st Shift
About The Position
The Receiver is responsible for safely transporting and storing materials in designated warehouse locations using material handling equipment. This role involves conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and are free from damage or defects. The Receiver will work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and production, to ensure an efficient workflow and communicate with supervisors or the Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low. Thorough inspections of materials throughout the shift are required to ensure they are properly stocked and organized. Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is paramount to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The role also requires demonstrating MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
Requirements
- Basic level of accuracy and thoroughness in verifying shipments and documentation.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting.
