Receiver - 2nd Shift - Erlanger, KY
About The Position
The Receiver is responsible for ensuring all inbound materials are inspected, received, sampled, and stored correctly in accordance with GMPs, storage conditions, and other possible warehouse/item restrictions, while always keeping safety as the top priority. This role involves inspecting incoming carriers, verifying material weights, initiating the receiving process in AS400, and collaborating with appropriate groups on any receiving issues. The Receiver will also report damages and shortages, pull samples for QC, and put materials away in approved warehouse locations using scanners, while adhering to all ISO procedures and GMPs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3+ years experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics & Transportation
- Bar-code experience
- Forklift (standup) experience
- Self-motivated commitment to continuous improvement.

- Degree in a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming carriers and inspect material during unloading (completing any documentation).
- Verify weights of material.
- Start receiving process into AS400 & work with appropriate groups on receiving issues.
- Report any damages and/or shortages.
- Pull samples of incoming raw materials to provide to QC.
- Put material away in approved locations in warehouse.
- Transfer to proper location using warehouse scanners.
- Follow all ISO procedures and GMP’s.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
