About The Position

This role is responsible for safely transporting and storing materials in designated warehouse locations using material handling equipment. The Receiver will conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and are free from damage or defects. This position requires close collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing and production, to ensure an efficient workflow. The Receiver will also communicate with supervisors or the Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low and conduct thorough inspections of materials throughout the shift to ensure they are properly stocked and organized. Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is crucial for maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The role also involves demonstrating MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.

Requirements

Basic level of accuracy and thoroughness in verifying shipments and documentation.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-1 year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting.
Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
May be required to frequently lift to 50 lbs. Depending on the job.
Hand dexterity and strength.
Prolonged sitting and terminal use.
Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
