About The Position

This position involves the regular and reliable attendance as an essential function of the job. The receiver will be responsible for unloading trucks using a forklift or power jack, following company guidelines for power equipment usage, and having basic knowledge of Word and Excel for navigating programs and printing invoices. The role also includes DEX vendor invoice processing, handling confidential information with discretion, verifying item counts against invoices, and managing damaged product and returns. Other duties may be assigned by store management.

Requirements

18 years or older to apply
Regular, reliable attendance
Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to navigate programs and print invoices
Ability to process DEX vendor invoices
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to verify item count received with invoices
Ability to handle damaged product and product returns
Bending
Stooping
Able to stock 50 cases per hour
Able to pull loaded stock truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
Manager approval based on performance (if invited for an interview)

Responsibilities

Unload trucks with use of forklift or power jack
Follow company guidelines when using power equipment
Have a basic knowledge of Word and Excel; be able to navigate programs; print invoices
DEX vendor invoices for incoming product (involves plugging DEX unit into computer jack to view and print invoices)
Exercise discretion while handling confidential information
Verify item count received with invoices; i.e. number of cases ,etc.
Handle damaged product and product returns
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
