About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Warehouse team as a Receiver. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Proficient in using inventory management systems and software’s.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and vendors.
Must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without accommodation.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as, state, federal and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the inventory counting processes and perform periodic inventory audits.
Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with received items.
Verify the quantity and quality of items received, ensuring accuracy in comparison to purchase orders, and packing list.
Organize and stage received merchandise in appropriate storage areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
Inspect and identify any defects or damages in received items, notifying the appropriate team members for further action.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure accurate and timely processing of received items.
Accurately record received items in the inventory management system, entering information such as part numbers, quantities, and serial numbers.
