About The Position

Join Willow Valley Communities as a Receiver at the Marlin and Doris Thomas Memory Center! This role is essential for ensuring smooth food and supply operations. The Receiver will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and managing incoming shipments, while also supporting food safety standards and inventory control. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in accuracy and teamwork, this position offers full-time and part-time opportunities starting at $17.00/hour.

Requirements

• Less than High School Education; up to one month of related experience or training.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Promptly store perishable items to prevent spoilage.
• Take temperatures on products as specified and apply time and temperature controls in accordance with the HACCP program.
• Receive goods and food items according to purchase orders.
• Examine incoming products for quality and notify the Team Leader of discrepancies or items that should be rejected.
• Label and date food items appropriately.
• Transport food and goods in a delivery truck.
• Record factors causing goods to be returned.
• Complete inventories and rotate stock.
• Unload and unpack incoming shipments and deliver items to appropriate storage areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain radio contact to remain available for deliveries.
• Clean and organize stockrooms, walk-ins, freezers, and dock areas.
• Follow Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize computer programs to complete daily reports and communications.
