About The Position

The Warehouse Associate – Receiver adds value to our Customers and Co-Workers by being responsible for accurately receiving inbound products and material. This involves being a positive team member by paying attention to detail and accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Basic math functions
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Good English verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
• MHE Certification required or the ability to obtain within three months of employment.
• RF scanner experience required
• High School or equivalent education

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience an asset

Responsibilities

• Accurately counting and verifying inbound products, ensuring the correct number and type of product is recorded for each bin according to order specifications using handheld scanners.
• Staging for put away team.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company policies and safety procedures.
• Proactively address or report issues, clean as you go and ensure positive customer service for the next shift.
• Operate warehouse equipment all MHE such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as needed, by following all safety procedures.
• Other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above.
