The Receiver/Stocker helps keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise and top stock, and preparing work areas. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and safely handling equipment and hazardous materials. Associates may assist customers with locating or loading products and are expected to provide friendly, professional service to customers and teammates. This is a physically active, fast-paced role that involves spending most of the shift on one's feet and following safe lifting and equipment-use practices. Work may take place inside or outside and can involve varying weather and climate conditions, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Single lifts are limited to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used when required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker. Schedules may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. For Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders in the Orders App, safely loading orders, rotating them by delivery date, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices.
