About The Position

As a part-time Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, move products to the sales floor, verify deliveries, prepare the dock, and use equipment safely. The role is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Schedules may include morning, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. You may also help customers locate or load products and support teammates with other assigned tasks. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders in the Orders App, loading orders accurately and safely, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness best practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme heat or cold, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating a forklift or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock products, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and support store operations using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment such as scanners, Zebra phones, and balers as needed.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
Communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
Follow Delivery Readiness best practices.
